As those of you that tread these halls know, I have occasionally taken a stab at writing. That’s not altogether honest, I write all day, every day at work. Its not that much fun, but its writing. So when I talk about the writing I’ve posted on here I want to be clear, its not the stuff I do professionally. Not even close.
That said, I think I’m going to try to get back into it. Night and Day was originally intended to be a PnP RPG campaign and I’d like it to be one day. I think I’ll keep writing it as a story, and at the same time convert it into a campaign. The story will kind of be the roadmap for the campaign, though any DM knows you never actually end up following the map. At least I’ll have something to point at to show how far afield we’ve gone. That is, assuming I ever find another gaming group.
Stairway to heaven is something completely different. That’s something I feel like I’ve already lived. It was such a vivid dream that now, months later, I can still feel, touch, smell the memories of it. The good and the bad ones (fucking zombie planet). But it is something I want to share as well.
I’ll just have to buckle down and set myself some ground rules. Like one of those links there on the right, Eric over at GenerationExtant, I’ll try to set a regular schedule. He’s so full of ideas and he creates such vivid stories, I can’t hope to compare to that. But I can at least hope to mimic his dedication. (Seriously if you haven’t read his Dr. Who stuff yet, what the hell is wrong with you?)
Anyway, if you give a damn, stay tuned. I’ll try to work out a schedule that matches up with work and post it here. We shall see what tomorrow brings.
p.s. new theme, didn’t think the last one was using the available space particularly well.
D’awwwwww….
