So the trainer gives us a pep-talk, tells us a few things that are supposed to make us better, and I actually do worse.
In a valiant attempt to convince us that we are good at this, our trainer goes through some speech about “self-talk” and how its going to make us better. While it may help some, it was mostly worthless to me. I already tell myself every day that I know I can do better, I can be the best at it. And then I prove myself wrong. Its getting depressing.
They told me that the more calls I take, the more opportunities I’ll see and the more sales I’ll make. So I worked fast, took more calls then I’ve taken yet, and made less than I made the last few days. So apparently doing what works for everyone else makes me worse. Great.
That means I have to reinvent the wheel to find out how to be good at this. Cross your fingers.
